Role Summary: The position holder is responsible for providing support to the Renewable Energy Project Development and Execution (RE PDE) Team on the different phases of the day-to-day processes in acquiring various permits, documents, lands, and rights of lands for the transmission structures and road right of way by planning, managing, and implementing in order to achieve the objectives of ARI.
The position holder secures and organizes necessary documents, permits, and other requirements needed in acquiring rights of way over the lands and practicing due diligence.
Outcomes Expected and Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination with technical, engineering, and legal support teams in identifying potential routes for transmission lines and access roads that meet the requirements and collaborate in determining the pain points and potential legal risks, executing plans based on direction set by RE PDE team leaders.Assist in managing commercial and legal risks throughout the transmission line and access road right of way acquisition process, ensuring ARI's interests are protected and project objectives are met transparently and sustainably. Activities include but are not limited to:Facilitate the gathering of required documentation for screening, land due diligence, and land rights processes from landowners and government agencies.Establish due diligence and financial close process for all aspects of the property.Facilitate the internal approval and document control process for property agreements.Provide visibility to the Transmission Line Right of Way Manager on immediate concerns, enabling teams to create forward-moving plans.Create venues for discussion with internal resources and cross-functional teams to identify risks presented in the land documentation and other information.Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve transmission line and road right of way acquisition targets, including:LGUs and National Government Agencies for securing project endorsements for the development of proposed renewable energy projects in relation to transmission line and road right of way.Other Government entities, such as DAR, BIR, DENR CENRO (for titling), Registry of Deeds, etc., for the preparation and processing of permits and clearances.Community leaders and other concerned private entities regarding community concerns that need to be addressed.Conduct information drives for the promotion and acceptability of RE PDE projects; initiate/attend council/group meetings for the facilitation/adoption of required resolutions.Lawyers, permitting, and engineers to determine whether sites are suitable for transmission line routes and roads and lead the process of acquiring rights to the land.Networks of real estate agents, brokers, and/or consolidators.Oversee and organize the applications for each of the permits to ensure they are completed properly and accurately, including the submission of all required attachments.Maintain and strengthen relationships with different stakeholders and collaborate in mapping potential supporters and blockers based on engagements made.Functions and Responsibilities: Support a high-performing and engaged team by having regular and ongoing conversations, with the purpose of setting and communicating clear targets, developing capabilities, managing performance, and discipline.Create a transparent environment by practicing courageous authenticity while operating on mutual trust, support, and respect.Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by respecting TM's individual strengths, views, and experiences to enable innovation, better decisions, and deliver better business results.Exercise due diligence and administrative responsibility in establishing and maintaining systems that sustain essential operational functions, such as completing compliance requirements, updating documents and protocols, and other such organizational tasks for continuous improvement.Champion the organization's culture, values, and philosophy by executing and enacting company policies, safety rules, and procedures.Minimum Requirements: 1 year relevant experience in real estate, energy, or law.2 years of project experience.Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year course.Experience in due diligence, basic assessment, and negotiations in land acquisition and conversion.
