Duties & Responsibilities:
• Hiring and training new employees.
• Create employee schedules that ensure appropriate staffing, especially during storage guidelines.
• Passionate about hospitality, have strong leadership skills, and show attention to details.
• Providing excellent customer service, ensuring staff are safe and that all food safety procedures are followed according to regulations.
• Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
• Agreeing and managing budgets.
• Creating staffing rotas.
• Planning menus.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
• Promoting and marketing the business.
• Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
• Taking reservations.
• Greeting and advising customers.
• preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
• Keeping statistical and financial records.
• Assessing and improving profitability.
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management
• Minimum 4 years' experience working in Restaurant or Hotel.
• Management experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid networking and interpersonal skills.
• Able to generate budgets and reports.
• Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.
• Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads.
• Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
• Previous restaurant experience.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Training in food safety.
• Financial literacy.
• Inventory control skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant management software.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Willing to be assigned in El Nido, Palawan.
