A client of ours in the Hotel industry is looking for their RESORT MANAGER. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations within budget and observing best practices and standards. Continuously improve communication standards of front office operations when responding to guest inquiries electronically or over the phone. Must be up-to-date with latest hospitality and food and beverage best practices. Must maintain optimum inventory levels for kitchen, bar, housekeeping, prevent wastage and spoilage and maintain order and high level of service of kitchen and bar. Identify guest needs and respond proactively. Conduct routine inspections on all facilities including all guest rooms to ensure standards are met and issues are promptly remedied. Meet targets and KPIs set by management; this includes short-term and long-term financial targets. Comply with health and safety regulations, necessary permits and all regulatory business requirements. Must see to it Accounting staff promptly and accurately reports on daily sales, occupancy, deposits, other financial and management targets and issues, and oversee that Accounting performs regular payroll. Must create strategies or campaigns to improve low occupancy during lean seasons. Identify and address critical problems, pain points, operational inefficiencies. Preserve upkeep of resort and all maintenance work, keep facilities in working order, must communicate with head office promptly for necessary repairs and upgrades. Preferably with some technical knowledge on maintenance and construction. Must liaise with local government units and/or officials, community and association as needed. Qualifications: Graduate of BS HRM or any hospitality related degree Preferably with managerial experience in a hotel/resort Must have strong leadership and communications skills to communicate effectively with guests and employees across all levels, departments and staff from Cebu head office.
