Job Summary:
The Resident Engineer - Mechanical | Plumbing is an integral member of the Construction Management team, responsible for overseeing mechanical and plumbing aspects of construction projects. This role involves supervising contractors, monitoring project progress, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and contributing to project reports and documentation.


Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Project Oversight, Safety, Quality, and Technical Compliance
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards in mechanical and plumbing work.
- Oversee mechanical and plumbing construction activities, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and compliance.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in mechanical and plumbing aspects.

2. Project Planning, Coordination, and Cost Control
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for mechanical and plumbing work.
- Coordinate mechanical and plumbing project activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- Implement control measures to manage the scope, time, and costs of mechanical and plumbing work.

3. Reporting and Documentation
- Contribute to project progress reports, with a focus on mechanical and plumbing aspects.
- Maintain construction documentation related to mechanical and plumbing aspects.

Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or related field.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses.
- Has an experience in construction project management with a focus on mechanical and plumbing work.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, construction industry standards, regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
