POSITION OVERVIEW Handles inquiries and reservations for Amanpulo and provides necessary information to the concerned Department about an arriving guestS. Ensures all bookings are confirmed and guaranteed. Ensures smooth operation in Reservations is carried out with the supervision of Reservation Supervisor / Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES Handles reservations, telephone inquiries and other general information about Amanpulo or other Aman Resorts as required. Follows the standard reservation system for a smooth flow of operations. Follows traced dates, sets reconfirmation, deposits, etc. for every booking. Promotes in-house facilities and up-sells guestroom in a manner that will effectively optimize guest's satisfaction as well as hotel revenue. Obtains sufficient information on guest's needs and recommends a particular room/villa type based on room/villa features that is more suited for the guest. Receives, confirms, and accurately inputs guest room reservations arranged either by telephone or by fax, by letter or booking order. Accurately updates the computer system with pertinent details of all reservations and ensures that all amendments and cancellations are inputted. Works closely with the Front Office Manager on new bookings, reconfirmation, amendments, and cancellation. Works closely with the Aman Central Reservations Office in Singapore / Fort Lauderdale for any booking and provides them information about occupancy and flight schedules regularly. Coordinates with the Airport Supervisor and Airport Lounge Attendant on all guests' flight details, transfers, city tours and other guest requirements. Keeps a close relation with Island Aviation especially with regard to the flight schedules. Since all flights are chartered, all seats should be maximized. Checks all the flight schedules and airfare charges of all arriving guests. Coordinates with the Sales Office on any guest requests or matters concerning travel agents and corporate offices in Manila. Provides weekly occupancy reports to be routed to the GMs, BODs, CSAR, Corporate Office, and Department Heads concerned. Informs the IT Department immediately if the Interface is not running. Provides information to all Department Heads concerned with regard to flight availability weekly. Assists HR department with the flight booking request of employees and contractors. Be a willing team worker at all times. Accepts and performs special assignments within or outside his Department as requested by the Reservations Manager or the Management. Keeps abreast of all company policies and code of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters; and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience; computing skills are required Minimum of one (1) year experience in handling reservations Proficient in OPERA system Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily #J-18808-Ljbffr
