What You'll be Doing
Under supervision, this position will gather, prepare, and analyze data for client sales and marketing programs. The individual will directly collect, validate, cleanse, and load data from internal or external systems into databases to enable successful user adoption of analytics tools and reports. The position will work with Strategic Marketing Managers and other program support resources to provide analysis, creative feedback, and prepare findings for presentation to management.
You'll report to the Director, Marketing AnalyticsYou'll impact the business, the teams you support and the various departments that you partner with on a consistent basis through your analysis and recommendations.
During a Typical Day, You'll ·Run and extract reports/data from internal and external systems or sources
·Perform checks to ensure data integrity and consistency
·Run manual and automated processes (ex. scripts, SQL stored procedures, loaders, PowerPivot refreshes, VB, etc.) to streamline cleansing and loading of data
·Create and fine tune queries necessary for performing voice/text analysis using speech analytics platforms
·Analyze qualitative & quantitative data, identify trends and improvement opportunities
·Conduct root cause analysis to determine underlying drivers behind performance gaps
·Provide data mining, root cause and trend analysis, deep dives, and data manipulation to effectively assess and communicate operational situations and strategies
·Assist with the preparation of business review documents for presentation to program operations teams and clients
What You Bring to the Role ·BS/BA required
·2+ years of data science, business intelligence, or high-growth analytics experience
·Strong skills for data analysis and interpretation in Excel, PowerBI, PowerPivot, R, Python, SQL, and other tools
·SQL coding experience preferred
·Experience with data management - understanding of databases, SQL queries, ETLs, and data models (tabular, cube, etc.)
·Knowledge of CRM systems and data visualization/BI tools (ex. Salesforce, Tableau), and contact center metrics a plus
·Excellent communication and organization skills, above average knowledge of PowerPoint
·Problem solver and detail oriented, able to work within an ever-changing data environment
