### Responsibilities
- **Financial Record Maintenance:** Assist in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records of accounts. This includes data entry, bookkeeping, and transaction categorization.
- **Bank Reconciliation:** Support the accounting team in performing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- **Invoice Processing:** Help process invoices, ensure timely payment, and assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to vendor accounts.
- **Expense Reporting:** Collect and review expense reports submitted by employees. Ensure all expenses are compliant with company policies and processes.
- **Assistance in Financial Reporting:** Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, assisting in analyses to identify trends and variances.
- **Audit Support:** Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation and support for external auditors during the annual audit process.
- **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with team members and other departments to gather financial data, resolve queries, and streamline accounting processes.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Actively participate in improving accounting processes by identifying areas of inefficiency or potential error in financial operations.
### Requirements
- **Educational Background:** A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems) is a plus.
