Responsibilities:
Ability to build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders across the Bank
Discuss and present audit status and issues to Audit team, key business contacts
Where appropriate, participating in industry working groups
Manage preparation of US and Canada applications in a timely manner to meet corporate objectives
Be part of the team that produces and analyzes the gamut of Regulatory Reports that need to be filed with the appropriate U.S. Regulators with a focus on Capital and Liquidity
Recognizes potential problem situations and is able to analyze/reconcile data to arrive at logical conclusions and make sound business decisions
Manage regional data loads and ensure integrity of consolidated data
Help implement and test the implementation of an automated reporting system
Ensure consistency of commercial and legal version of regulatory communications
Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualification is desirable
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like regulatory affairs, life sciences, or engineering.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations, FDA requirements, quality management systems, and international standards.
Experience: Prior work experience in regulatory affairs or related fields.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and regulatory agencies.
Analytical Skills: Capability to interpret complex regulations and develop compliance strategies.
Project Management Skills: Efficiently manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Problem-solving Abilities: Aptitude to identify and resolve compliance issues.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and implement new regulations and standards.
Regulatory Certifications: Optional, but certifications like RAC can demonstrate expertise in regulatory affairs.
