Job Summary:
As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compliance workload within our company, including scoping, rolling out, and maintaining a compliance framework. Externally, you will be a key point of contact for regulatory bodies and third parties. Internally, you will be a trusted advisor to our audit and operations teams and play a key role in ensuring company compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring our setup adheres to the strictest industry and internal regulations and best practices. You will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, leveraging your leadership experience and technical expertise to align compliance efforts with overarching business goals and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and interpret changes in online gambling regulations across necessary jurisdictions.
2. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to online gambling compliance.
3. Create and manage the company's internal compliance framework by:

Developing and implementing comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.Creating and managing compliance-related reports, dashboards, and visibility tools to ensure that the executive management team always has the full picture.4. Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.
5. Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and certification authorities to ensure:

The company has a clear understanding of all requirements and has the framework in place to meet and exceed expectations.All third-party requests and requirements are managed effectively, ensuring long-term relationships and protecting company interests.6. Aid the operational and auditing teams with reviewing and assessing the compliance practices of online gambling operators under our jurisdiction.
7. Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, breaches, or complaints promptly.
8. Prepare, maintain, and coordinate accurate records and documentation regarding all compliance activities.
9. Train and educate our internal staff and external third parties on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
10. Directly advise the executive management team on key decisions.
11. Collaborate with internal teams like operations and auditing teams and external third parties like legal firms to ensure a holistic approach to compliance.
12. Manage team performance, develop staff, and create a succession plan.
13. Any other task as deemed relevant by management.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance management role within the online gambling industry. In-depth knowledge of online gambling regulations and licensing requirements across various jurisdictions. Direct experience of AML, data protection, and responsible gaming management and workloads. Ideally, hold a relevant professional qualification in Legal or Compliance fields. Direct working knowledge of gaming within the Philippines / PAGCOR regulatory frameworks is not required but highly desirable. Direct experience working in a full-time legal role is not required but highly desirable. Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application to online gambling operations and audits. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient with relevant compliance software and audit tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills in English are necessary; Tagalog is not required but highly desirable.
