Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with Professional License (Passed Board/Professional Licensure Exam).At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field.Extensive knowledge about pharmacological information.Must be computer literate, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical compliance regulatory standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.Able to provide safe medications efficiently to all hospital clients.Responsibilities: Dispense pharmaceutical and nutritional products for IN and OUT patients.Prepare and dispense medications to patients in accordance with Doctor's orders based on charge slips from different wards/departments.Notify physicians on any therapeutic incompatibilities, potential drug interactions, and duplicate prescriptions.Provide information concerning medicines and drug therapy to all concerned health personnel in the hospital.Ensure that the right patient takes the right drug and the right dosage at the right time.Dispense, monitor, and record dangerous drugs.Monitor and check all empty vials returned from different hospital wards.Arrange and replenish medicines according to drug categories.List down medicines for stock requisition and requisition to purchase through the Bizbox system.Receive and check drug deliveries from different suppliers/distributors based on Purchase orders.Fill sales invoices from different pharmaceutical companies/distributors/suppliers.Compile charge slips issued to different departments.Conduct monthly inventory of the Pharmacy and ancillary department and floor stocks.Partake in orientation and training of pharmacy interns on different areas and services of the hospital pharmacy.Perform other related functions as assigned by the Chief Pharmacist.Attend scientific seminars, workshops, conventions, and continuing education on drug-related matters and hospital pharmacy.Participate in the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program of DOH.
