Reports to the Regional Payroll Manager and lead payroll administration of either APAC or EMEA Regions: oversees the processing of monthly, semi-monthly, mid-month and ad-hoc multi-entity and country payrolls for over a thousand Amdocs employees throughout APAC or EMEA regions.
Liaise with global and country local external partners/vendors as well as internal stakeholders from HR/GL and AP/Tax and relevant teams.
**What will your job look like?
**:
- Manage, mentor, delegate and empower team towards enhanced operation and procedure as well as relating to each respective specialization.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll processes and activities.
- Enforce operational quality measures and controls as defined in SOC/SOX.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll output through extensive validation of payroll results and posting of relevant SAP entries to the General Ledger and/or books of accounts.
- Finalize and sign off payroll output.
- Ensure accurate payroll funding in a timely manner.
- Act as focal and manage escalations.
- Instill culture of continuous improvement, drive and implement development and upgrade.
- Interact and co-operate with internal and external partners.
- Oversee and/or support audit engagements.
- Assist and support new acquisitions (PMIs).
- Initiate, lead and implement process automation and improvement initiatives.
- Work with the regional payroll manager and represent payroll operations towards controllership, employees, HR partners and counterparts, GL & AP and tax teams as well external vendors and relevant government bodies/regulations, as appropriate.
**All you need is...**:
- 5 to 10 years of working knowledge of e2e payroll and best practices plus 2 to 4 years of solid leadership experience (as a TL/supervisor/manager)
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, preferably finance and accounting graduate
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
- Strong customer service capabilities
- Engagement and positive attitude
