BASIC FUNCTION Responsible for implementing policies and programs on recruitment for an efficient sourcing, screening and placement of all manpower requirements within the organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receives, checks completeness and validates information of Personnel Requisition (PR), Table of Organization (TO) and Job Description (JD) from requisitioning units. Sources qualified applicants through different channels (eg. talent bank, internet/newspaper ads, email blasts, referrals, head hunters, manpower agencies, job fairs, posters, leafleting and on-campus recruitment). Conducts resume screening to profile candidates for specific positions. Conducts initial interviews, occasionally administers and scores proficiency tests (Math, English, Computer Literacy, etc.) and prepares initial interview assessment. Closely coordinates with the Requisitioning Unit, COO / EVP / Consultants and Office of the President regarding interview schedules. Prepares Job Offer (JO) sheet and conducts salary negotiation with successful candidates. Conducts reference checks on the candidate's previous employers (for managerial, executive positions). Closely coordinates and ensures completeness of the pre-employment requirements of successful candidates. Prepares reports on hiring statistics, served PRs, weekly/monthly status and other recruitment reports requested by Management. Prepares and facilitates Employment Contract signing with new hires on their first working day. Conducts Company Orientation and coordinates with IT Training Manager for the IT Orientation before deployment of new hires. Checks 201 files of new hires and safekeep their records during their probationary period and endorses the same to HR-Administration upon regularization. Closely coordinates with HR-Administration on Personnel Action Form (PAF), Personnel Information Computerized System (PICS) and hiring of new hires in the system. Leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the recruitment team in meeting overall manpower & recruitment objectives. Recommends and implements recruitment campaigns for active positions as well as for manpower pooling. Spearheads tie-ups with educational institutions to ensure a constant stream of available graduates. Closely coordinates manpower requirements and maintains good relations with accredited manpower agencies and head hunters. Researches for new, low or no cost sources of supply to meet manpower requirements (eg. free online job postings) at the most cost-effective sources. Cultivates and promotes sound recruitment practices in the interest of the Management. Job Type: Full-time
