Recipe Editor

Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and creative Recipe Editor to join our team. The Recipe Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing a collection of 11 recipes weekly, ensuring they are sense-checked, user-friendly, and adhere to consistent formatting and style guidelines. Additionally, the Recipe Editor may occasionally work on other projects, such as promotional recipe packs or special collections. Key Responsibilities: Edit a weekly batch of 11 recipes, ensuring:Clear, concise, and engaging instructions.Consistency in formatting and style.Accurate and user-friendly measurements, cooking times, and methods.Recipes are sense-checked for practicality and clarity.Occasionally edit additional products such as promotional recipe packs or seasonal recipe collections.Complete all assigned tasks within a 48-hour turnaround time while maintaining high-quality standards.Collaborate with the content team to ensure recipes meet brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.Identify and suggest improvements to existing workflows and processes for recipe editing. Requirements: Proven experience in recipe editing, food writing, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and exceptional editing skills.Knowledge of culinary terminology, techniques, and measurements.Familiarity with recipe formatting and user-friendly design principles.Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in (Specify tools/software, e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or other content management systems). Preferred Qualifications: Background in culinary arts or a related field is a plus.
