Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Inspection:Receive, inspect, and verify all deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.Ensure the quality, quantity, and condition of items meet hotel standards.Documentation and Record-Keeping:Maintain accurate records of received goods, including invoices, receipts, and inventory updates.Report discrepancies or damaged items to the Purchasing Manager or relevant department.Storage Coordination:Ensure proper handling and storage of received items to maintain quality and prevent damage.Coordinate with the storekeeper to update inventory and organize stock appropriately.Supplier Coordination:Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to shipments.Follow up on outstanding or delayed deliveries as needed.Compliance and Safety:Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards during the receiving process.Ensure compliance with local regulations related to goods handling and storage.Collaboration:Work closely with the purchasing, kitchen, and other departments to meet operational requirements.Provide timely updates on deliveries and inventory status to relevant teams.
