Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Imaging Procedures: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other modalities, while adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Patient Care: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination. Equipment Operation: Operate radiographic equipment efficiently and effectively, ensuring proper positioning and technique to obtain high-quality images. Image Evaluation: Assess images for quality and accuracy, identifying any technical issues that may require retakes or adjustments. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information, imaging results, and any relevant observations. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support clinical decision-making. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications: Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology Licensure/Certification: Valid Radiologic Technologist license and certification from a recognized body required. Experience: Previous experience in a clinical radiology setting is preferred. Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge: Familiarity with radiology software and equipment, as well as knowledge of radiation safety practices.
