Radiologic Technologist

Preferably a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology duly certified by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Preferably with experience but not required. Knowledgeable in basic procedures.

III. EFFORT MENTAL EFFORT Basic Function: To maintain error-free procedures when conducting diagnostic procedures to our patients. To protect the reliability and efficiency of the department. Must be a fast learner with regards to the theoretical and practical applications of the procedure.

Duties and Responsibilities A. Functional Duties Performs all radiologic exams as requested. Prepares films for reading/interpretation by the Radiologists. Maintains department records, inventories, supplies, equipment, and accessories. Prepares daily accomplishment report. B. Relationship Duties Answers telephone inquiries from patients/clients. Consults/reports to the Supervisor related to department concerns that need clarification or approval. WORKING CONDITION AND HAZARDS Work area must be clean and spacious. The area must be hazard-free.

PHYSICAL EFFORT Work activities require transferring patients both out-patient from wheelchair/stretcher to bed and vice versa. Utmost care is required for the different machines used in the department.
