ResponsibilitiesPerforms X-ray procedures accurately.Takes quality radiographs employing the right exposure factors and proper positioning for accurate interpretation and evaluation of the results.Explains the procedure to patients to ensure maximum cooperation.Ensures all materials/supplies needed by the patient are provided to avoid patient discomfort and inconvenience.Always ensure privacy of patients.Evaluates and interprets the films and records pertinent findings.Types X-ray results in the official report form and double checks entries to guarantee accurate results.Ensures correct release of results by following the standard operating procedure (SOP) for X-ray to avoid misrepresentation of results.Prepares and endorses the test results to the Clinic Encoders for release to the patients.Keeps inventory and supplies management.Coordinates the schedule of preventive maintenance/calibration with the service technician (supplier) of the X-ray machine through the Immediate Supervisor.Conducts monthly cleaning and maintenance of the X-ray equipment and its accessories.Prepares and accomplishes documentation and reports for renewal of licenses.Ensures timely renewal of license of the X-ray facility and X-ray badges.Files and maintains all radiologic records.Accomplishes the following reports:Maintains order and cleanliness of the work area.Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time, including being sent to other clinic branches for manpower.Job TypeFull-time
