Job Description Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost management, preparing quotes, contract administration, and ensuring the financial success of our projects. This role is crucial to maintaining project profitability while supporting the overall growth of the company. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.Conduct cost analysis and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor variations, progress claims, and contractual changes.Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.Manage subcontractor payments and negotiate contract terms.Provide advice on procurement strategy and risk management.Assist in project reporting, cash flow management, and final accounts.RequirementsSkills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred3+ years of experience in quantity surveying or a related role in the construction industry.Strong understanding of construction contracts and industry standards in New Zealand.Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.GoogleSheet and GoogleForm experience is a plusCandidates with Written / Spoken Mandarin Chinese knowledge are welcome to apply.
