As a Quantity Surveying Manager, your tasks and responsibilities would entail:
1. Promote good business relations by establishing customer focus and marketing strategies.
2. Identify cutting-edge ideas by researching on industry trends, events, publications, and announcements
3. Locate and propose potential business contracts/projects and opportunities by contacting new potential customers
4. Enhance the reputation of RLB by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to projects and clients
5. Report to the QS Division Head, Assistant Vice President and Vice President for VISMIN knowledge and evidence of any employee of RLB Philippines in breach of ethical, legal and moral behaviors.
6. Represent RLB at all functions and proceedings as requested by the Chairman and President
7. Be an exemplar of professionalism to all staff to build a culture of excellence at par with international standards
8. Take part in the management planning, strategic planning, and new business strategy design of the organization to ensure continuity and future expansion
9. Responsible in meeting the organization's overall operation requirements to ensure on-time and accurate submission of design and/or budget proposals and project reports in the QS Department
10. Responsible for the administration of all documentation pertaining to the quality measures of PQS and Cost Engineering
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Civil Engineer OR Mechanical Engineer
- At least 8 years of related work experience
- Competency in cost estimation and budgeting, contract management, risk management, value engineering and team management
- Preferably from a similar industry specializing in construction management, project management, and quantity surveying
