Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of Civil Engineering or related course

2. With at least 5 years similar work experience

Job Descriptions:

1. Preparation of early stage budget and detailed cost plans; undertaking

costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work

2. Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility

studies; performing risk and value management and cost control;

3. Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of

quantities;

4. Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems; allocating

work to subcontractors.

5. Review of tender documents to identify exact requirements and identify

potential issues i.e. contractual requirements that are too onerous.

6. Provide a detailed "take off" and Bill of Quantities

7. Work on traditional drawings and specification tenders, and also design

and complete quotation analysis comparison and make selection for

inclusion in priced tender.

8. Consider other construction methods and determine the specific

preliminary requirements.
