Quantity Take-Off Prepares and identifies the difference between the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from the Bill of Materials (BOM) Identifies the different types and levels of estimates Prepares manual and digital take-off of quantities Organizes Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the 16 CSI Division Interprets Specifications Consolidates Bill of Quantities Develops Cost Codes Prepares Key Performance Index (KPI) Costing Identifies direct cost and selling Cost Defines man-hour cost and labor efficiency rates Derives equipment rates Prepares Unit Price Analysis (UPA) Prepares schematic costing Procurement Identifies types of bonds, insurances, and sureties Identifies types of contracts and applications Understands bidding procedures Understands permits Prepares cash flow/S-curve/schedule Prepares procurement packages Cost Study Process performance ratios Uses historical data Value Engineering Exercise Identifies cost drivers Computes cost escalation (Material or Labor) Manage Design Team during VE discussion General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in MS Excel, Planswift, CAD, and BIM Proper sentence construction and English Grammar Presentation Skills Knowledge of Building Codes Knowledge of Building Methodologies Presentation of Powerpoint presentations Awareness of new construction materials and methodologies Management Skills: Represents the company in high-level corporate meetings JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3 to 5 years Experienced Employee specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. With or without license. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
