Job Summary:

White Swan Data is a small but rapidly growing team of mathematicians, data scientists and software engineers who are constantly striving to refine world class betting models while also researching and deploying new ones. Our work bridges three domains, each challenging in its own right - betting and gambling, quantitative research and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the quantitative team to design, implement, and optimise quantitative trading strategies.
Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and potential opportunities for algorithmic trading.
Build and refine mathematical models and algorithms for predicting market movements and optimising trading strategies.
Develop and implement risk management protocols to ensure the stability and reliability of trading strategies.
Conduct thorough back testing and simulation of trading strategies to assess performance and validate models.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, and data science to enhance and evolve trading strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to integrate quantitative models into production systems.
Monitor live trading strategies, identify and address any issues promptly, and continuously refine models for optimal performance

Requirements:

Proven experience in quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, or a similar role.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++.
Proficiency in statistical modelling, machine learning, and data analysis.
Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with financial data sources and market data.
Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines
