Quality Officer Your Mission Reporting directly to the Quality Systems Supervisor, the Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that PPI products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
What you will do Audit: Ensures requirements on food safety and quality based on updated standards are complied by conducting regular audits. Completion of audit cycle.Customer Complaint Management: Investigates customer complaints related to product quality or safety. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address root causes and prevent reoccurrence.Documentation: Maintains accurate and detailed records of quality assurance activities, including test results, inspections, and corrective actions taken. Evaluate and approve suppliers based on their quality assurance practices and performance. Conduct supplier audits as needed to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.Training: Provides training to production staff on quality control procedures, food safety and quality practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure understanding and compliance.Non-Conformance Management: Investigates and resolves non-conformances identified during inspections or audits. Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.HACCP Implementation: Implements and monitors Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans to prevent food safety hazards and ensure product safety.Regulatory Compliance: Stays up-to-date with relevant food safety regulations and industry standards. Ensures that the company's quality assurance practices comply with regulatory requirements.Quality Control: Conducts regular inspections and quality checks at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to take on new activities or job-related tasks related to quality and food safety as they arise.Additional Responsibilities: Performs additional duties as assigned by management.What we expect from you Education: Preferred - bachelor's degree in science related course (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology), license required.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality control or assurance, audit preferably in food manufacturing.In-depth knowledge of food safety (e.g., FSSC, HACCP, GMP) and quality management systems.Experience with quality control techniques, sensory evaluation, and laboratory testing methods.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Offer Puratos provides a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment that encourages our people to take initiatives and bring ideas that will contribute to the success of the company.
