Quality Engineer (Female)

Qualifications & Experience:
• College graduate, preferably with a technical background in engineering, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Preferably with experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and standards, including ISO certifications, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in quality control processes, product testing, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of cost management and product defect analysis within a manufacturing context is a plus.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Quality Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, corrective action logs, and compliance records, ensuring all product specifications and standards are met.
• Quality Control Processes: Oversee and implement quality control processes throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring that products meet both company and regulatory standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety standards are adhered to within the production environment, performing regular safety audits and training for staff as necessary.
• Defect Identification and Process Improvement: Identify defects in the manufacturing process, analyze the root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Product Testing: Develop and implement testing protocols for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, ensuring all products meet the required standards before distribution.
• Collaboration with Manufacturing Teams: Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues, resolve production bottlenecks, and recommend improvements in manufacturing practices.
• Reporting and Metrics: Prepare regular reports on quality performance, including defect rates, compliance levels, and improvement initiatives.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of quality control measures.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality standards, testing methods, and process improvements to ensure consistent quality.
• Cost Control and Waste Reduction: Work with operations and finance teams to analyze costs related to quality issues, implement cost-saving initiatives, and reduce waste throughout the manufacturing process.
