The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for performing efficiently and effectively the detailed specific tasks related to monitoring and implementation of Quality Assurance programs and systems in Jollibee Worldwide Services Logistics distribution operations
and Incoming Inspection laboratory to support the objective of providing services and products consistently meeting standards and specifications for food safety and quality.
Assist the QA Manager in monitoring the detailed activities of overall quality assurance and food safety programs of JWSL.Coordinates and provides technical assistance to all distribution third party logistics service providers and distribution center compliance officers in strengthening QA programs and compliance to quality management.Reviews and ensures appropriate inspection and testing required by the QA programs and systems developed for the company in accordance with international accepted standards.Conducts audits on the implementation of QA programs, systems, and procedures in terms of Good Warehousing Practices, Good Distribution Practices, Hazards Analysis Critical Control Points, and Good Laboratory Practices including validation methods and audit processes.Maintains calibration and verification of existing measuring and testing equipment and recommends adjustment if needed.Coordinates and liaises with regulatory requirements pertaining to product movements, sampling, and other regulatory requirements of FDA, NMIS, BAI, BFAR, and LGU.Reports critical areas of concern regarding product quality and safety as soon as these are identified/observed.Assists and conducts process improvement projects and alternative processes related to quality assurance, inspection, logistics, and distribution.Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to address quality-related issues and implement process improvements. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Food Quality System, Food Safety, Line Inspection and Quality Management within the food/FMCG manufacturing industry.With strong expertise in food safety standards (GWP/GDP, GLP, GMP, HACCP, ISO Standards) and statistical analysis.Experience in implementing Integrated Management Systems (IMS), including HACCP, ISO, FSSC, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).Must have a strong technical communication skills and possess advanced skill in using quality tools and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI).Willing to travel and work at the Logistics Facility in Parañaque.
