The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible foe ensuring that plant food safety programs are compliant with all relevant Food Safety standards. The QA Officer will follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standard, and Product Quality Standard.
I. Duties and Responsibilities
FDA Compliance and Certification - Ensure strict adherence to FDA regulations and other relevant certifications, Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates, Collaborate with relevant authorities during inspections and audits.Day-to-Day Operations - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure efficiency and compliance, Collaborate with the warehouse team to implement best practices and SOPs.Process Guidance and Documentation Control - Develop and update process guides and SOPs to ensure they align with FDA and other regulatory standards, Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation control for all warehouse processes.Food Safety - Implement and monitor food safety programs and procedures, Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety standards, Collaborate with quality control teams to address and rectify any identified issues.Concerns Investigation - Investigate and address any concerns related to product quality, safety, or compliance, Implement corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings.Administrative Work - Perform administrative tasks related to FDA compliance, documentation, and reporting, Maintain accurate records of certifications, licenses, and regulatory approvals, Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.Training and Education - Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff on FDA regulations, certifications, and food safety, Ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about and adhere to established guidelines.Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse processes, Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall compliance.
II. Job Specifications ·
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology and other related field. ·
Has knowledge in GMP and HACCP programs implementation. ·
Good in oral and written communication skills.
