Job Description: As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and usability of the system. You will oversee all aspects of quality assurance including testing (lab and onsite), process improvement, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve collaborating closely with development teams, project managers, system interfacing parties and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality product that meets customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations. Including onsite testing activities and rectification works.Review and analyse system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis.Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects.Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven work experience in software quality assurance, leadership role is a plus.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
