The Dressing Plant Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for the evaluation and verification of quality incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products in accordance with good quality standards set by the company and its customer.
Consistent implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Safety and Health, Food Safety, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point and company rules and regulation.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Quality evaluation of all incoming live broilers, fresh dressed chicken for cutting and packaging materials during production.
- Identifies quality problems and non-conformance to set standards and recommends the corresponding corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensures compliance in auditing of clean and dirty area systems.
- Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures standard monitoring, verification and compliance.
- Coordinates concerted meetings, demonstration, and consultations with production coordinator and processing crew
- Submits regular daily inspection checklist for analysis and collation to Supervisor.
- Utilizes pre-approved inspection processes, procedure, test and measuring equipment during quality inspection.
- Keeps abreast of the department direction and objectives.
- Attends regular department meetings and company initiated training/ seminars to improve work performances.
- Conducts monthly Good Manufacturing Practices and 5'S audit.
- Conducts annual refresher and orientation of Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point.
- Performs other duties his/her head might be assigned.

Work Experience**
- With one (1) year experience as Quality Assurance work is an advantage.
**B.
Education**
- Graduate of any of the following courses: BS Food Technology, BS Biology, BS Microbiology, BS Agriculture and other related courses
