**Job description**
The role shall deliver efficient testing, inspection, validation and verification of the materials and products at defined steps of the manufacturing cycle; this is demonstrated through conduct of testing and inspection activities, reporting conformance and non-conformances, and achieving performance targets.
The role directly contributes and is involved in the: testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process and finished products,
reporting of non-conforming materials, processes and products; provide information for investigation of root cause(s), correction and corrective actions, and implementation of the management system(s) - to which the company adheres to.
The role is expected to: contribute in achieving the team's performance targets, adhere to the company's mission, vision and core values, follow and promote the company's code of conduct, policies, procedures (including quality, health and safety, and security); and execute the activities/processes/services as required by the department.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Operations and Compliance**:
- Conducts laboratory testing and/or inspection as necessary
- Report results of testing and inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process materials and/or utilities
- Report results of line clearance, testing and inspection of finished products
- Report identified or observed conformances and non-conformances from testing and inspection activities
- Execute team's scheduled tasks as applicable
- Execute key performance requirements, testing and inspection methods/procedures,
- Monitor availability of testing and inspection resources Audit, Testing and Inspection: - Ensure compliance to related management system is followed and relevant documented information are timely available - Ensure compliance to documented information (i.e.
test and inspection methods, procedures, instructions and similar) - Ensure integrity of all testing and inspection activities
- Provide information for investigation of root cause(s) - Implement correction(s) and corrective action(s) as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
The role is preferred to have attained either of the following minimum requirements:
- Intermediate level chemist or chemical technician with at least one (1) year experience in chemical laboratory testing and inspection in a Manufacturing industry that is compliant to a Management System (ISO, GMP/HACCP).
Or;
- Entry-level chemist or chemical technician with background on chemical laboratory testing and inspection in a Manufacturing industry.
