As a Benefits Administration and QA Analyst, you are responsible for executing audit controls andprocedures to support quality results in key areas such as plan member enrollment and eligibility, benefitsadministration, payroll reporting, and insurance carrier data integrity.You will assist fellow QA team members with auditing the accuracy of enrolment data and group benefitsconfiguration across the lifecycle for new client implementations and annual open enrollments - fromHRIS census data, to internal system configurations and UAT, through to payroll reporting and carrier fileintegrations.
To be successful in this role, it is vital to have strong data manipulation skills (MS Excel and GoogleSheets), be extremely detail oriented, a solid understanding of group benefits plan design and pricing,and the confidence and ability to identify and clearly communicate errors and risks.In this role, you will:.
Execute controls and procedures to ensure data integrity and quality of client deliverables relatingspecifically to member enrollments, manual benefits administration, group benefits plan designand pricing, eligibility rules, and insurance carrier data integrity.
Execute audit protocols to test the continual effectiveness of current controls.
Support meeting customer requirements and exceeding customer expectations through thedelivery of quality initiatives.
Establish and maintain audit methodology, standards, procedures and templates.
Proactively reach out to internal stakeholders to identify potential risks to the project plan or areasof improvement.
Support in building cross-functional effectiveness by sharing industry knowledge, proactivelyimproving the functionality and accuracy of audit tools, and identifying gaps and areas ofimprovement.
Clearly document and report on issues with members' elections or system configuration errors.
Support the creation of improved error reporting so account managers and clients can easilyaction on issues.
Work in partnership with the Implementation Project Managers, Configuration Associates, andIntegration Analysts to ensure our customers have successful new implementations and annualenrolments.
Participate in internal UAT, documenting results and ensuring a seamless experience for ourplatform users.
Support with documenting client-specific operational processes.
Assist with other quality-related tasks and projects as needed
Requirements.
2+ years of experience within the group benefits industry with a solid understanding of groupbenefits plan design and administration.
2+ years experience with multiple data formats including CSV, Excel, JSON, and XML.
Basic understanding of data integration for benefits administration (e.g.
HRIS, payroll, insurancecarriers).
Basic experience in healthcare tech or health insurance industries and standards, HIPAAcompliance, and related best practices.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Mastery-level Excel experience.
Experience managing large data sets
