· Manages day to day operations and activities covering the following areas/activities: Incoming QA inspection and testing, Production (In-process) line audit, inspection and sampling, QC Final sampling/acceptance of FG, Daily compliance to 5S & Good Housekeeping audit, Weekly Compliance to GMP audit.
· Conducts training, development, disciplining and performance appraisal of QC/QA personnel
· Implements the Quality Management System, policies, strategies and standard operating procedures and practices.
· Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing & evaluation including product quality improvements.
· Coordinates with Production, Industrial Engineer and Maintenance groups on analysis of customer quality complaints and come up with an effective corrective and preventive actions
· Communicates and meets with client's QA/QC on quality related issues, including inspection, testing and evaluation results as required.
· Ensures and supervises quality records management to support traceability and monitor quality performance.
· Conducts process Audit to identify quality problems within the manufacturing areas and have discussions involving, Production, IE, and Warehouse departments to take appropriate actions to address identified issues.
· Identifies effective sampling methods and procedures to capture off-specs and rejected materials and finished goods.
· Conducts testing, acceptance or rejection of PM, SFG,FG based on agreed standard testing procedures at agreed timelines
· Conducts efficient handling of customer audits, regulatory audits and ISO 9001:2015 audits.
· Handles and executes calibration activities in coordination with engineering
· Manages QA department's team to achieve the set targets and to maintain quality, GMP, 5s and Good Housekeeping requirements
· Prepares and submits complete, correct and accurate weekly and monthly management reports including other data that maybe required.
· Implements and monitors the yearly QA Goals and Objectives
