Qa/Qc Engineer

The QA/QC Engineer will provide technical support for construction projects by addressing requests for information (RFIs) and administering the Construction Quality Management Program. This role will be deployed to various project locations across the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the Construction Quality Management Program for assigned projects.Review and recommend approval of contractor quality control plans.Attend quality control meetings and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy.Provide input on Government Quality Assurance (QA) and Contractor Quality Control (QC) reports.Validate the quantity, condition, and approval of materials on-site before invoice payments.Witness selected tests and review applicable test reports.Keep the Government sponsor informed about project status and progress.Independently plan and execute assignments while performing additional related duties as needed.Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Travel to various project sites as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, focusing on materials testing and quality assurance.Knowledgeable in Construction Quality Management (CQM) and EM385 standards.Experience with pre-stressing works and concrete mix-designs.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
