This role will give you the opportunity to: Work in a key part in the insurance industry, Reinsurance. The domain knowledge you will gain is in high demand.Be a part of an International Team: Our team is spread across USA, Philippines, and India.Work in Cloud: We are heavily invested in Cloud and only getting started.Automation: You'll work on creating new processes and tools that will replace manual process and add more value to business. Write and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.Write SQL Queries to reconcile or analyze data related issues.Effectively communicate with business users to understand requirements and Test the Business Requirements against the application functionality.Report bugs and communicate with the development team.Find opportunities for processes improvement and propose solutions.
Qualification

You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience being a QA or Testing role, with some of it focused on Data Intensive Applications.
You can write SQL really well. (We love to see some samples you wrote)You can understand data models. (We have some complicated ones)You take ownership and solve problems when you see them.You are able to understand and reason about complex business process.You have good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users, software engineers and business analysts.You have high empathy and a keen sense of understanding how other people think
Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus 8+ years of related experience.
