The primary role of QA Developer is to be crafting, executing, and refining automated and manual tests to ensure software meets functionality, performance, and scalability benchmarks. Learn more about us here (link to http://paperstreetmedia.com/) What you'll be doing: Lead and mentor the QA team, coaching and offering assistance when needed.Design and develop comprehensive functional test cases and test artifacts.Execute both manual test cases and automated test scripts for functional, system, and regression testing.Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the highest level of product quality and reliability.Evaluate and test software using a combination of automation and manual testing techniques to ensure specifications and requirements.Provide hands-on guidance and support in testing efforts, including test case creation, execution, and issue resolution.Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.Document workflow and work procedures.Attend scrum meetings and sprint planning / backlog reviews, communicating project/testing status to internal and external teams in a timely manner.Generate and maintain metrics to track test execution progress and provide visibility into the quality of the software under test.Monitor CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot issues related to test automation, environment setup, or infrastructure configuration.Create high-level test plans for product launches.Continuous evaluation of QA automation, prioritizing, and striving for the highest possible coverage.Works closely with engineering and product management to understand their needs and optimize methods accordingly.Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and quality assurance, and assess their applicability to the organization.Gather requirements based on the team's roadmap and strategy, in order to execute activities and sprints efficiently.Ensures the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and progress visibility.Perform other duties as needed.Must-Have: 5+ years of hands-on testing experience, including automation and manual test cases.BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience.Familiar with performance testing with: JMeter, LoadRunner, and ZAP.Data analysis to determine and solve root causes.Experience in Web, both desktop and mobile environments.Experience in testing on multiple platforms and devices: Windows, iOS, and Android mobile devices.Knowledge of implementing a TDD environment.Nice To Haves: Experience with the adult entertainment industry or film production industry.
