Maintain a strong working relationship with vendors.Monitor stock levels and determine purchasing needs.Track orders and ensure timely delivery.Ensure the quantity and quality of purchase orders.Conduct marketing research to identify pricing trends.Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with maintaining the legal interaction with them.Budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.Health and safety, Quality and other legal requirements.Overseeing any large procurement that may happen.Monitor prices fluctuation.Make sure suppliers are with proper documentation especially those who supply food grave items.Routinely check with warehouse, production etc. that products arrive in good condition.
