La Nueva started in 1933 as a cold store named Tong Guan, selling imported wines and canned goods in Magallanes St., Cebu City. It was founded by Uy Chun Tong, who immigrated from Amoy, China.

During World War II, the store had to close down after getting hit by aerial bombs. But right after the War, it opened its door again for business on the same location under the new name ?La Nueva,? which is a Spanish word that means ?The New.?

During the ?70?s, La Nueva started to evolve by selling grocery items for wholesale and retail. The business grew and was later known as La Nueva Grocery.

During the ?80?s it was named La Nueva Supermart, as it started selling a full line of grocery products.

Currently, La Nueva Supermart is one of the leading local grocery store chains in Cebu operating in four (4) branches spread all over Metro Cebu, offering awide variety of grocery items, and school and office supplies.

Job summary:
Monitors inventories, purchase orders, and availability of stocks at the selling area and warehouses of La Nueva - Mactan Branch

Qualifications:
? Graduate of any 4 years business related course
? Good analytical or mathematical skills
? Computer Literate ( Libre Office, Microsoft Office )
? Can work well under pressure and with less supervision
? Organized, detail oriented, and accurate in recording of information;
? Experience is an advantage but not required
? Must be residing near Lapu-Lapu City
? Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
