Purchasing Specialist (Rva)

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist with experience in sourcing and purchasing from China. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, supplier negotiation, order management, and logistics coordination to ensure a smooth purchasing process. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Purchasing & Order Processing: Handle the entire procurement process, including RFQs (Request for Quotes), purchase orders, and contract negotiations. Logistics & Shipping Coordination: Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Officer, or similar role. Strong background in purchasing from China, including familiarity with Alibaba, 1688, and direct supplier sourcing. Knowledge of import/export regulations, incoterms, and customs clearance. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with freight forwarders and international shipping companies. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required.
