**A.
Primary Purpose of the Position**

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for procuring goods and services of desired quality, quantity at the lowest price and at the desired time.
It includes research and development for the proper selection of materials and sources, follow-up to ensure timely delivery, inspection to ensure both quantity and quality, storekeeping and accounting operations related to purchase.
**B.
Duties and Responsibilities**

1.
Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
2.
Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
3.
Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
4.
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
5.
Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
6.
Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
7.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
8.
Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
9.
Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
10.
Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
**C. Minimum Requirements**

1.
Knowledge

1.1 Applied understanding of basic accounting functions, analysis approaches, tools, and techniques.

2.1 Proficient in oral and written communication

2.2 Ability to achieve the objectives of the company in line with the goals of the management.
3.

Education and Training

4.1 Graduate of any four (4) year College degree course.
5.
Work Experience

5.1 At least with 3 years relevant experience in purchasing.
6.
Hours of Work

6.1 Required eight (9) hours work daily with a six (5) days' work week.
7.
Duration of Contract

Regular employee contract after passing the probationary period.
**Salary**: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parañaque City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
