Duties and Responsibilities:

- Purchase materials for the hotel through approved vendors.
- Establish, manage and maintain supply levels for the hotel.
- Purchase maintenance and repair supplies for hotel.
- Adhere to established procedures and policies in purchases.
- Research prices and supplies of non-mandated items.
- Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
- Ensure locally nominated supplier information is kept current.
- Manage the database of active local contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain a record of commitments for all budgets and ensure that the managers and supervisors are constantly informed of updates.
- Ensure a comprehensive system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders.
- Monitor all areas of purchasing including contracts, leases and nominations.
- Prepare the month end accounts reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Execute on tasks / requests as instructed by the management.
Qualification / Competency Requirement:

- At least a Bachelor's / College Degree in Finance / Accounting or related business discipline
- At least 1 year of working experience in similar purchasing role, preferably within the hotel / leisure sector
- Strong financial knowledge and ability to work with budgets
- Computer literate, with good Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint skills
- With driver's license
- Good in time management
- Strong influencing, interpersonal and organizational skill
- Rigorous commitment to accuracy and detail
- Passion for providing great service

- 8 hour shift
