The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for the timely, accurate, and quality acquisition of needed products at the lowest possible price.
Duties and Responsibilities: Source and evaluate the offers of suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and other factors to ensure optimal value for the company Collaborate with different departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise Coordinate logistics for shipments and deliveries, including arranging transportation and resolving any issues that may arise. Conduct comprehensive market scan to ensure competitive pricing Other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
