The SSC Procurement Department is comprised of multiple work streams within Procurement such as Indirect Buying, Purchasing & SQD, Supply & Market Analytics,and Digitalization & Processes. This role is under the Purchasing & SQD team which collaborates closely with the Global and Regional Procurement organizations on purchasing activities (i.e. source-to-contract activities, spend management, and supplier negotiation) and supplier & quality development (SQD).SSC Procurement Purchasing & SQD**Responsibilities**:You shall be accountable for the execution of the end-to-end purchasing process, or some parts thereof, which covers requirement definition, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the full process. You may be responsible for the category and spend management of selected commodities within Global or Regional ProcurementConduct sourcing activities (RFx) with agreed vendors and negotiate to reach the best possible outcome for VestasmindsetParticipate or supervise in the selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers within the categoryEncourage tenders and lead in the development of supply agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, purchasing agreements, framework agreements, etc.Optimize the current supply base, including costs by doing cost-outs or savings initiativesImplement risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk toolsEnsure relevant master data maintenance is executed - secure that missing master data is enriched (info records, source lists, quota arrangements, and vendor master). This may also include the collation of documents such as Safety Data Sheets, CE declaration of conformity certificates, etcWork across different business units within Vestas and provide input to and implementation of the category/regional procurement strategiesEncourage continuous improvement programs both internally and at the suppliers with a special focus on cost-saving initiatives, supplier optimization, and component standardizationEnsure adherence to KPIs set by Global Sourcing regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and sustainability. May perform deep-dive analysis to motivate improvement on the KPIsPerform data analysis on tenders and spend visibility and other relevant procurement analytics activities**Qualifications**:Engineering graduate or relevant business degreeWith at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement functionsExperience with selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers is neededHands-on experience in contract negotiation is neededSkilled experience in negotiating with global suppliers is neededExperience in SAP or Ariba P2P processHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Professional English written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with convictionHighly self-motivated, innovative work ethic, attention to detail, and solid customer service orientationProfessional in stakeholder management and with engaging communication skills at all levelsKnowledge of Tail Spend ManagementCompetenciesAs a person, you are professional and trusted by nature with a good sense of quality.
