Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple properties.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Coordinate with property managers and tenants regarding financial matters.
Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents.
Monitor and report on property financial performance.
Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy.
Manage tenant billing and rent collection processes.
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
Provide financial analysis and reports to management.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity.
Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
