Properties Manager

Responsibilities: Property Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of buildings and facilities.
Coordinate leasing and tenant relations.
Maintenance Oversight:

Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Budget Management:

Prepare and manage budgets for property operations.
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Vendor Management:

Negotiate contracts with service providers and contractors.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality of services.
Compliance and Regulations:

Stay informed about local building codes and regulations.
Ensure properties comply with all legal requirements.
Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
Manage responses to emergencies and facility-related incidents.
Skills:
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for tenant relations and team coordination.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple properties and projects effectively.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to address maintenance issues and emergencies.
Financial Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Qualifications:
A degree in property management, real estate, or a related field is often preferred.
Certifications (like Certified Property Manager - CPM) can be beneficial.
Previous experience in property management or facilities management is usually required.
