Job Title: Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities: Project Execution:Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Implement project plans and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Technical Supervision:Interpret and verify technical designs, drawings, and blueprints.Provide guidance and technical expertise to site workers.Quality Control:Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.Conduct regular quality assurance checks and address any defects or issues promptly.Resource Management:Monitor and manage site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project deadlines.Coordination and Communication:Liaise with project managers and architects to resolve design and implementation issues.Maintain clear and effective communication among all team members.Health and Safety:Enforce health and safety policies on-site, ensuring a safe working environment.Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.Progress Monitoring:Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress.Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of tasks.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of site activities, including inspection reports, progress updates, and material usage.Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Relevant experience in construction, site supervision, or engineering roles is preferred.Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.Work Environment: Typically works outdoors at construction sites, often in varying weather conditions.May require extended hours, including weekends, depending on project demands.Job Type: Full-time
