Project Officer Role is to provide support to enable timely delivery of fibre projects and services whilst maintaining highest level of quality and performance.
Position Responsibilities/Job Description: Liase up with contractor on handovers, invoices, and other technical requirements Ensure work is done in compliance with Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards. Contractor Management. Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure order requirements, order status and order expectations are met. Verbal and written Communication with other carriers, external utilities and authorities Arranging access into buildings and data centres Reports to Team Leader and Project Manager on service status. Mitigation access challenges to enable smoother service delivery. Updating records, internal database and project documents. Other ad-hoc tasks as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration Preferably with 1-2 years' experience in telecommunications industry. Ability to work and interact with people at all levels and meet deadlines. Can multitask (ability to switch tasks and priorities) Problem solving skills. Ability to think outside the box. Persistence. Able to seek and look for options. Has strong analytical thinking. Great business acumen. Technical Expertise Working knowledge of Fiber Optic deployment requirements. Working experience in any Database that keeps track of fiber infrastructure. Understand and able to interpret engineering installation plans. Expertise in MS Office Tools, Visio and CAD is an advantage.
