What you'll do: Manage complex projects from design and development to production.Create and execute project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Identify resources needed at the project level and assign individual responsibilities to Project Engineers.Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and resolving issues that come up.Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards.Communicate with internal and external customers, including project kickoff meetings, regular status updates, and engagement reviews.Ensure project documents are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately.Manage project budgets and forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions where appropriate.Minimize exposure and risk on projects.Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO (Project Management Officer) processes based on previous experience and industry standards.Work to continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Strive to enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments. What skills and experience you'll need: 4+ years IT project management experience.Experience working under a structured Project Management Office (PMO).Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills.Demonstrated, proven, and polished "soft skills" including:Diplomacy and ability to navigate challenging political waters. Strength and confidence.Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsAn aptitude for technology. Experience working in cross functional teams.Current PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation certifications strongly preferred.Bachelor's degree in a technical or business area preferred.
