Position title: Project Manager Platform Screen Doors (PSD) Purpose of the Job Project Manager's mission is to implement with his team all actions for the successful planning and execution of the project with respect to budget, delivery timeframe and expected quality. Manage the progress of the project from Commencement Date to handover, ensuring the results are in accordance with the Contractual Project requirements documentation and immediately report any major deviations from the requirements in management meetings. Monitor PSD in all domains of project and Contractual Management. Resolve any issues to ensure the compliance of the progress with the Contract until final Customer acceptance, considering all inputs and outputs to be delivered to Consortium. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure that QCD (Quality Costs Delivery) commitments exist for all work packages. Allocate all contractual obligations to Work Packages. Confirm that QCD commitments will lead to the successful performance of the contract. Manage all work packages convergence as an integrated whole to meet QCD commitments: Ensure that all work packages are reviewed on a regular basis with the relevant Work Package owner to identify and resolve issues. Manage all Project reviews using the Work Package reports as a basis. Carry out actions and decisions of Consortium remaining within the pre-agreed delegation of authority & power of authority given. Implement Consortium Management plans in line with Contractual Requirements, processes and procedures as per consortium. Manage the supplier and monitor its progress and support it to solve external issues. Follow the contract to confirm that the supplier meets all the requirements and validate the invoices of the supplier. Supervise and coordinate Project Works. Support the development of coordinated schedules, from design to T&C; supporting the progress calculation and the design of mitigation/recovery plans; follow-up the action plans. Ensure Consortium decisions making for all issues that affect Project performance and obtain the expected results but not limited to the following are implemented: Ensuring project execution and progress. Making sure that all key Project issues are resolved. Ensuring that all necessary action plans are defined and deployed until their satisfactory closure / result. Ensuring that all decisions are executed. Aiding in management and arbitration of conflicts. Building appropriate contractual documentation, to claim or counter-claim. Interface with stakeholders, internal to Alstom and or any other interfacing Parties; supporting the Consortium in its role of project integrator, if & when requested/required by Consortium Project Director and/or Infra Project Manager. Identify, manage and settle all possible variation orders and internal changes. Ensure that all agreed variation orders or internal changes are reflected in Project deliverables (project schedule, Work Package QCD commitments...). Ensure Deliverables are managed (CDRL) Define, commit and implement the Project Railway Safety Policy and Plan Comply with Code of Ethics, and more generally all Alstom and Consortium policies, including a special focus as well on HSE.
