Project Manager (Migration)

Details of the offer

Functions:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the migration strategy, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project align with business objectives.
Oversee all phases of the migration, from planning and testing to execution and post-migration support.
Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and external vendors.
Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and any changes to timelines or scope.
Manage expectations and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals.
Identify potential risks related to the migration process, including data loss, system downtime, and security breaches.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Develop a post-migration support plan, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise.
Ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations post-migration.
Gather feedback from stakeholders to assess the success of the migration and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT or data migration projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale migration projects from initiation to completion.
Strong understanding of data migration processes, tools, and technologies.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
