As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing a specific group or category of products. Your responsibilities will include analyzing industry trends, developing long-term strategies, managing vendor relationships, and maximizing consumer appeal through effective pricing, promotion, and product range management.
Key Responsibilities Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
• Analyze data and insights to identify industry and consumer trends related to architectural hardware, lighting, sanitary, and kitchen systems.
• Devise long-term development strategies for the assigned product categories.
• Develop exit strategies for underperforming products within the category. Vendor Management:
• Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and ensure quality services.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Product Range Management:
• Determine product positioning within the category.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns.
• Forecast product demand and ensure optimal inventory levels. Sales and Profitability:
• Maximize consumer appeal through competitive pricing strategies.
• Implement effective promotional activities to drive sales.
• Monitor profitability and adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to execute category goals.
• Identify new business opportunities within the category and develop plans to capitalize on them.
Qualifications and Skills
• Experience: Extensive experience in understanding consumer needs in the retail and project environment, particularly in architectural hardware, lighting kitchen systems, or appliance categories.
• Commercial Mindset: A deep comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing data and making informed decisions.
• Goal-Oriented: Driven to increase sales and profitability for sustainable business growth.
