Job Description
The Project in-Charge is responsible for providing assistance to the Project Manager in supervising the construction of the projects and ensure that all works are executed in accordance with the contract and approved plans and specifications of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations
Assists the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager in the supervision of the assigned project;
Monitors and assures that project is constructed in accordance with plans and specifications;
Directly responsible in the implementation of all structural and architectural requirements;
Implements safety standards for construction in accordance to industry practices;
Prepares billing certifications or endorsements;
Evaluates and prepares change orders or claims for approval;
Prepares and monitors owner supplied materials requirements;
Manpower Activities Schedule
Prepare the schedules of the people.
Prepare incident report for workers caught idle at work.
Reports
Submit reports as required and as needed by management.
Regularly report to client.
Other Duties
Attend regularly toolbox meetings conducted by Superiors.
Comply with the Company Rules and Regulations and Department's Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures.
Perform other job related tasks as may be directed by superior and key officers of the company from time to time.
Represent the company in meeting with the clients
Provide back-up relief for other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the Company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
Preferably licensed but not required
At least 5 to 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural /Architectural or equivalent.
